Having suffered another layoff in the telecom market in Denver (3 now in 4 years between my wife and myself, but all with the same company!!) I'm thinking about relocating to Seattle. I'm tired of the extreem heat, and the extreem cold, and only like the snow when I'm skiing (and I'd rather be water skiing anyway). I don't mind rain, and I love seafood. I work in Telco, but do all kinds of technology development stuff. I've been to Seattle a couple of times but mostly for vacation. I'm heading out next week a mindset of living there to see how it goes. So for any one who lives (or has lived) there, what did you think? How is the job market? any good neighboorods to check out (I prefer the local, non chain kind of stuff)? overall quality of life? and the Z question: any good places to get the Z worked on? Thanks for the input. --Paul
